Assignment of a Protocol Number

When a completed IRB, IBC, or IACUC application is received in the Office of Research Administration Office, it is assigned an identification number (e.g., HS#, IACUC#) that will be referenced on all subsequent committee correspondence. This number is provided to the Lead Researcher and Administrative Contact, when applicable in a memo confirming committee receipt of the application.
