UCI Critical Theory

UCI Critical Theory is the institutional home for events, research, and study related to critical theory at the University of California, Irvine. In addition to the annual Wellek Lecture series and the Koehn Public Lecture in Critical Theory, the center oversees the Critical Theory Emphasis, which trains and certifies graduate students from across the campus—humanities, arts, social sciences, and beyond—in a variety of critical approaches. The center also offers mini-seminars with up and coming scholars, as well as research seminars and workshops for faculty and graduate students.
