About Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA)

Departments and research units that submit proposals are assigned Sponsored Projects teams consisting of Contract and Grant Supervisor who supervises the Senior Contract and Grant Officers (non-federal team) and the Contract and Grant Officers (federal team).  These teams work with the department or unit's contract and grant staff to review/submit proposals and manage awards.  Please see our Staff by Departmental Assignment page to find the C&G officer assigned to your area.

Impact of Federal Executive Orders and Directives on Federal Grants and Contracts

Under the direction of the new administration, Federal agencies are making plans and taking actions to implement the new EOs. This is a fluid situation with updates being issued frequently. We understand that many UCI researchers have questions.
